MANAGING DIRECTOR – TODAY’S GROUP
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, high-calibre individual to join us in the above role, leading all strategic and operational activities for the Today’s Group, our wholesale division.
Reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer and Member Wholesale Council, this is an executive board level role with a remit to drive the future success and performance of the wholesale business, by developing relationships with current partners, establishing new businesses and identifying new opportunities and improved benefits for members.
As an ambassador and leader for the Today’s Group and working closely with both members and key sector bodies to provide and support the independent wholesale business sector, you will be commercially astute, charismatic and influential, with the confidence and resilience to add value and contribute to the continued development of the business.
With an already established track record of success at a senior management or director level within a fast paced high volume trading environment, you will be able to demonstrate evidence of strategic, commercial and managerial capabilities and achievement throughout your career, ideally but not necessarily within the wholesale sector.
Equally important, you will be expert in building strong relationships, with first class communication and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to lead, develop and inspire the Today’s Group team.
