Nisa-Today’s Launches New Corporate Logo

03/09/2009

Nisa-Today’s has launched a new corporate logo to freshen its brand and ensure that the company remains competitive in the current marketplace.

The logo is being introduced on a phased basis starting at the end of August, it is intended to be completed externally by 2011 across the group’s lorry fleet to coincide with the commencement of its new distribution contract.

The new Nisa logo was approved by the Symbol Group Development Committee in spring of this year and has since been used on all Nisa fascia stores for new members and existing members refreshing their stores. So far, 61 stores are carrying the new Nisa fascia and it is planned that by the end of the next financial year (March 2010), a further 240 stores will carry the new fascia (new members and existing member redevelopments).

The Today’s Group logo was designed to work in conjunction with the new Nisa logo design and was approved in June of this year. Wild’s of Oldham is the first Today’s Group member to use the logo outside of its depot, which launched in July.

Neil Turton, Nisa-Today’s chief executive officer commented, “We launched the new Nisa fascia store in Maylandsea, Essex and received very positive feedback from our membership. We have been developing the new corporate logo for some time now and feel this fresh redesign better demonstrates the progressive nature of Nisa-Today’s. We are extremely pleased with the new logo and are looking forward to rolling it out gradually over the course of the 24 months to avoid unnecessary costs.”
