Nisa-Today’s makes donation to Bangladesh Cyclones Appeal
28/11/2007

Nisa-Today’s has donated £5,000 to the Bangladesh Cyclones Appeal to help give hope to those in need after a cyclone swept through Bangladesh causing devastation to millions of people.
Thousands of families were left without homes after the tropical cyclone destroyed villages around the south coast of the country. The donation will be used to help restore the lives of those directly affected by the cyclone, which hit Bangladesh on 15th November 2007.
Initially, a large proportion of the money will be used to provide urgently needed necessities such as food, water, medicines and shelter. The Bangladesh Cyclones Appeal has estimated that it will cost almost £2.5 million to restore the lives of those living in Bangladesh.
Nisa-Today’s CEO, Neil Turton commented, “We sincerely hope that this donation will help with the relief efforts that are taking place in Bangladesh at the moment. As we approach a festive period of the year here in the UK it’s important to remember those who have been less fortunate than ourselves, and if the opportunity arises help those people make steps toward a better life”.
