A Dogs Life

04/12/2007

This Christmas, Nisa-Today’s has joined forces with Guide Dogs for the Blind to help raise money for the charity, in celebration of the packaging re-launch of its Heritage own brand dog food ranges.

From 3rd December 2007 until 6th January 2008, Nisa-Today’s will be donating 15p of every consumer purchase of its Heritage 2.5kg own brand bags of dog food and dog food mixer. The charity has been transforming the lives of those who are partially sighted and blind for the past 75 years, by providing them with guide dogs.

The Heritage dog food products have been repackaged and the new design features a Labrador Retriever - a breed of dog that is renowned for guiding the partially sited and blind. Nisa-Today’s anticipates that it will raise a significant contribution for Guide Dogs for the Blind over the festive period.

John Sharpe, managing director of Central Distribution Trading & Logistics commented: “It’s very rewarding for us to have the opportunity to raise funds for Guide Dogs for the Blind at this important time of year and by combining it with the packaging relaunch of our dog food ranges, we are also driving brand awareness and member sales. We are confident this will be a successful scheme for everyone involved.”
