Today’s Group Wholesale Council Appointed

At the recent Today’s Group Conference, held in Prague, Czech Republic, the group appointed members to sit on its Wholesale Council, to help develop future trading strategies and ensure that the best interests of the Today’s Group membership are met.
Manish Dhamecha, director of Dhamecha Foods Ltd was appointed as chairman of the Wholesale Council, in a move approved by those members present at the Prague conference, with other members including Nisa-Today’s non-executive chairman Raj Chatha (European Food Brokers), Nick Ramsden (Dee Bee Cash & Carry), Steve Ainger (First Choice Wholesale Foods Ltd), James Ward (ACW Holdings/Forward Foods), Ronnie Hannah (J W Filshill Ltd), Michael McCormack (Musgrave Wholesale Partners), Sucha Singh (Thames Cash & Carry), Asim Sarwar (United Wholesale Ltd) and Simon Lewis (Luther Lewis Ltd) also confirmed to sit on the Council.
The Wholesale Council, which replaces the former Today’s Group Board, will comprise a mixture of wholesale members and Today’s Group executive representation in the form of Rodney Hunt, managing director, Nick Barker, trading director and John Baines, senior trading controller. Nisa-Today’s chief executive officer Neil Turton and chief financial officer John Schofield will also attend future Council meetings when appropriate.
