Nisa-Today’s Appoints New Director

Nisa-Today’s has appointed Jonathan Stowe to the newly created position of distribution director to ensure the smooth transition of the group’s distribution contract with DHL, which will commence in April 2011, along with the day-to-day activities of the distribution and warehousing function.

Jonathan has over 20 years experience in supply chain management having previously held posts with third party logistics providers, suppliers and independent wholesalers.

Jonathan’s responsibilities also include managing all aspects of the contract between Nisa-Today’s and its third party logistics supplier, to recommend and enhance strategies and to ensure the best service is provided for Nisa members.

John Sharpe, managing director of Central Distribution Trading & Logistics commented: “Jonathan has exceptional credentials and will bring with him a wealth of experience from within the distribution and logistics field. He has worked at senior level for a significant period of time during which he has been very successful. This will, without doubt, enhance the company’s relationship with the logistics supplier and help members receive the best service and value.”

Jonathan Stowe, who commenced his role as distribution director on Monday 4th January, commented: “I am delighted to be joining Nisa-Today’s and I am looking forward to the challenges that the new role will present. I have worked within the logistics industry for over 20 years and I am confident that this will help to enhance the department.
